Building ivata groupware

ivata groupware uses Maven to download its dependencies and build. These are the steps you have to go through:

1. Get the sources
2. Download specially licensed dependencies
3. Run Maven to build
4. Generate documentation

Technical Notes

The newest code used two strategies to simplify the code:

• PicoContainer
  
  acts as a 'glue' to bind simple objects together, yet it lets each component remain distinct
• Hibernate
  
  lets you persist Plain Old Java Objects to a database such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or Sybase.
